Figure models are frequently 1/8 or 1/6 real size and are made out of resin, the same type of material that is contained in fiberglass. Many models come from the Orient and they are often based upon popular Japanese manga series or video games.
Many of the kits are made by small companies, typically operating out of their garage, and so are commonly called Garage Kits. They are manufactured in production runs of less than a thousand units and are like a flower - they exist for a brief time and once they are gone all you have left are the memories.
All kits sold here are Japanese toy show specials, and limited one time only. Most anime resin garage kits are by Fans of the anime / video games, and are made with his/her imagination. All items are made by hands, and no item is 100% the same. Most items will need small assembly.
